Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki revealed in an interview with Newsweek his hopes for greater north-south connectivity in Europe while advocating for the Polish-led Three Seas Initiative. The initiative is an agreement between 12 European countries to improve the infrastructure, energy and transportation in the region between the Adriatic, Baltic and Black Seas. Prime Minister Morawiecki announced his hopes for greater support from the United States toward this initiative as it looks to strengthen the transatlantic community as a whole.
